Environment, mankind, sense of limit. A critical reflection on common goods in the European context

Abstract

This contribution offers some thoughts about environmental protection and sees the anthropological factor as crucial for prevention. In particular, it will be pointed out that rediscovering the human sense of limit is a challenge we have to face if we want to get through the current crisis and solve not only environmental problems, but also economic, political, cultural and moral issues, which are naturally related to them. A challenge that inevitably involves both particular and general human relations, as well as national and international public institutions.
