Italy at the origins of the European integration process (1947-1957)

Abstract

Questo scritto metterà brevemente in evidenza alcuni dei passaggi fondamentali che hanno segnato le origini del processo di costruzione europea dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. In particolare, il lavoro si concentrerà sul ruolo svolto dall'Italia che, tra i suoi obiettivi di politica estera, ha considerato prioritaria l'integrazione economica e politica degli Stati dell'Europa occidentale.

This report will briefly highlight some of the fundamental steps that have marked the origins of the European construction process after the Second World War. Specifically, the work will focus on the role played by Italy that, among its objectives of foreign policy, has considered as a priority the economic and political integration of the Western European States.
