Abstract

The goal of climate neutrality in 2050 poses a series of very complex issues to the European Union and even more the rest of the world, including a strong reduction in climate-altering emissions, a drastic increase in the consumption of alternative energies and a sharp decline in the use of fossil fuels. The multiple cultural, political, economic, technological and social implications of this process brings Europe to address important challenges within its borders, but also extremely relevant matters in the foreign policy domain.
